DMCA / Copyright Policy
BizBee respects intellectual-property rights and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the “DMCA”). This page explains how to report claimed copyright infringement on bizbeebusinesscredit.com and how we respond. It works alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
In short: if you own a copyright and believe something on this Site uses it without permission, send our Designated Copyright Agent a written takedown notice with the details below. If your material was removed and you think that was a mistake, you can file a counter-notice. We act on valid notices and terminate access for repeat infringers.
1. Reporting claimed infringement (takedown notice)
If you believe content on the Site infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a written notice to our Designated Agent (see Section 5) that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and its URL(s) on the Site, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. If you are unsure what to include, the U.S. Copyright Office publishes general DMCA guidance.
2. Our response
On receiving a notice that substantially complies with the DMCA, we may remove or disable access to the material in question and, where applicable, notify the person who posted it. We may also, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, terminate access for repeat infringers.
3. Counter-notice
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe that was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to our Designated Agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice (or their agent).
Where the DMCA permits, we may restore the removed material after the applicable waiting period unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.
4. Misuse and false claims
The DMCA imposes liability on anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or a counter-notice — for example, claiming that material is infringing when it is not, or claiming that material was removed by mistake when it was not. Please be sure of your rights and your facts before you file either one.
5. Designated Copyright Agent
Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our Designated Copyright Agent:
Copyright Agent — BizBee
Email: dmca@bizbeebusinesscredit.com
Or use our contact page and mark your message “DMCA Notice.”
For verification of our registered Designated Agent, see the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory at copyright.gov.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Updated” date shown above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
