Cookie Policy

By Marcus Delaney, former commercial loan officer · Updated June 2026 · 2 sources

This Cookie Policy explains how BizBee uses cookies and similar technologies on this site. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. BizBee is an independent information and comparison publisher — we are not a lender, a bank, or a loan broker.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage. They help the site function, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and — for some partners — support advertising.

2. Types of cookies we use

We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into four categories. The table below describes each category and the kinds of cookies it covers.

Cookie categories on BizBee
CategoryPurposeExamples
Strictly necessary Core functionality, security, and remembering your consent choices. These cannot be switched off. Session, security, and consent-preference cookies
Performance / analytics Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics measurement cookies*
Functional Remember your preferences and improve your experience. Embedded media and preference cookies
Advertising / affiliate Measure affiliate referrals and, later, support display advertising. Affiliate-network tags; ad-network cookies once display ads are enabled*

* Illustrative — the exact cookies, providers, and durations are populated from a full cookie scan of the live site before launch, as most consent laws require naming them.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties — for example analytics providers, affiliate networks, and ad networks. These parties may use them to build a profile of your interests across sites. We do not control third-party cookies; review the relevant third party’s own policy for details.

4. How to control cookies

  • Consent banner. On your first visit (and whenever you reset your preferences), our consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies and manage categories. You can reopen it any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
  • Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
  • Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of certain advertising cookies via industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and via your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal where supported.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date so you can see when the policy last changed. For questions about cookies, see our Privacy Policy or contact us.
